Pat Cortellessa was born and raised here in Providence, Rhode Island. He graduated from Central High School and attended the Providence College ROTC program and has a Liberal Arts Degree from CCRI.

He is running for Secretary of State because he wants to help his fellow Rhode Islanders who are visibly upset with the State Department. Pat Cortellessa is determined to change the vision of the State Department and focus on protecting our elections.

His experience includes running for Mayor of Providence and being a vital member in the corruption case against Mayor Vincent "Buddy" Cianci.

This November, Rhode Island is faced with a considerable choice to change the current outlook of its future. Under incumbent Secretary of State Nellie Gorbea, Rhode Island has taken dramatic steps to undermine our sacred voting process.  We cannot allow the same policies in the Secretary of State's office to continue.

In order to defeat the progressive agenda that is currently in power we must vote for conservatives that defend our values and state. Rhode Island is a historic state, full of diversity and extraordinary people who want to see their fellow neighbor succeed. Let this election be about them, the hard-working people of Rhode Island.
